Instructors

Sensei Nick McLaren holds a 5th Dan black belt. He is the head instructor at the North Burnaby dojo as well as Director of Legacy Shorin Ryu in BC. Sensei McLaren has over 19 years of experience in Shorin Ryu Karate and trains under Hanshi Gary Legacy, 10th Dan, an internationally renowned Shorin Ryu master. In 2005, he was awarded the title of Renshi by his instructor. Sensei McLaren also teaches the use of traditional Okinawan weapons.
